Consisting of documents produced by the Magnifica Pietà Colleoni (1476-1808), dating back to 1404, the Congregation of Charity (1808-1827), the Administration of the Elemonistic Pious Places (1827-1828), and the Luogo Pio della Pietà Colleoni (1828-present), the Foundation's historical archive preserves nearly six centuries of the charitable organization's history and uninterrupted activity.
